Hinweise:	In recent years there as been a growing popular, artistic as well as critical interest in re-enactments: practices of restaging and acting out historical events with the aim of establishing affective and/or aesthetic links between past and present. The workshop discusses a range of re-enactments from the fields of historical pedagogy, literature and media art and aims to analyse these from the combined theoretical backgrounds of memory and performance studies. Depending on the participants’ wishes this workshop can be offered in English or German. All course reading will be in English.
