Hinweise:	The master class will follow some of the lines laid out in the keynote lecture. It will explore more deeply concepts of cultural engineering in Dubai and Hong Kong, paying specific attention to the problems involved from the perspective of a Western understanding of culture. There will also be excerpts from presentations and plenty of opportunities for participants to discuss scenarios of cultural implementation in the current context of globalization. Participants are invited to present their own views, ideas, projects and questions, dealing especially with the German cultural landscape and its reactions towards the changes brought forth by processes of internationalisation and globalisation. The aspect of cultural diplomacy might also be interesting in this context.
