Services for International Students
The GCSC team assists international students in all questions they may have regarding doctoral studies in Germany, before and after their arrival.
Our international students receive extensive support to ensure not only successful studies but also an enjoyable stay in Germany. We provide tutorials tailored to the needs of foreign doctoral students, offering practical information and advice on all aspects related to living and studying in Germany. The tutorials also introduce participants to the characteristics of academic research and academic writing in Germany as compared to the academic traditions of other countries. The integration of international students and scholars is further facilitated by the various social and cultural activities organised by the GCSC and its International Forum throughout the semester.

Events for International PhD students
The GCSC’s International Forum brings together young scholars from around the world and provides a lively platform for intercultural exchange right here at the GCSC.
Additionally, the University's International Office organises cultural events for international PhD students of all disciplines:
- 24. October 17:00 at the International Office, R 009 - Info-Day for PhD students: STUBEIG study fees, acceptance procedure “Promotion”, admission etc.
