Concepts for the Study of Culture is the centre’s latest publication series that embraces the desideratum for theoretical and methodological innovation, its comprehensive analysis, and potential and perspectives for the study of culture.
Since 2008, the publication series Gießen Contributions to the Study of Culture mirrors the centre’s range of research interests and academic projects in providing an appealing medium to represent its topical and methodological diversity within the academic community. The series’ programme includes anthologies, conference proceedings as well as a volume of cutting-edge research for the broader public.
The series English Literary and Cultural History assembles a variety of completed dissertations and further research that focus on the analysis and impact of Anglophone literatures. Volumes cover topics ranging from genre theory to literature and the art of living to the representation of cultural identity.
