Strategic partnerships with both, academic and non-academic institutions, play a vital role in the GCSC’s all-round approach to postgraduate studies.
Over the last three years, the centre has established a network of partners, that includes, among others, renowned cultural institutions such as the Museum of Applied Arts, the Museum of Communication and the German Film Museum in Frankfurt, international companies such as MLP, foundations such as the Hans Boeckler Foundation and local partners such as Sparkasse Giessen. The partnerships are based on mutual interests and objectives. They include:
- joint projects,
- internships and job prospects for young scholars of great promise,
- sponsorship and
- mutual, long-term commitment to collaboration in more than one area.
